Stars for a New Millennium is a study in color, texture, stitch and thread. It was originally designed after a year of color, stitch and thread notebook classes at the shop. This design is totally counted, but gives the stitcher the opportunity to express himself/herself through color and thread choice. Tony has provided the color list of the original and the color lists of some of the students in his original class. There are also be directions on how to select your own colors should any of the printed color choices not strike your fancy.

Each square in this pattern is based on a traditional star quilt pattern and is named after a movie star from Hollywood's Golden Age.

The instruction booklet is 96 pages, with each of the 12 squares (and the borders and corners) completely charted for you, including a full-color master chart for each square.  The individual stitches are thoroughly charted and explained.
